The Region Centre Val de Loire will host the Rugby Ireland Team camp.

It is now formalized: The Region Centre-Val-de-Loire will host the Ireland team during the RWC France 2023. The best nation in the International World Rugby ranking will have its camp in Tours.

On November 7th, a press conference took place at the city hall of Tours chaired by Francois Bonneau Region’s president with the presence of Rodolphe Estève regional league president, Julien Colette general manager of RWC France 2023, Emmanuel Denis mayor of Tours, John Robinson IRFU president and many local regional sponsors. The Region committed to promote the key relationship between sport and education and confirmed its engagement to support actively the RWC France 2023.

John Robinson in his thanking words highlighted the importance for Ireland to participate to the Rugby Heritage Cup Pontlevoy 2023. Let’s be ready in 10 months for welcoming the Irish team in our Region.
